Bowersville Gin Historic Structure Report

Two classmates and I worked as a team to complete a historic structure report for this 1949 gin in Bowersville, Georgia. A small rural town, Bowersville hopes to adaptively reuse the gin as a community center for its 450 residents. We researched the gin's history; did a full analysis of its condition; and formed recommendations to transform it in a way that respects the character-defining features. My role was to write the physical description, condition assessment, and future guidance sections; take all photos; and create the site plan in AutoCAD. Once the content was complete, I edited and designed the report using InDesign.
